Phlebotomy Tech Interview Day

Interviewing experienced candidates for:

• Patient Service Technician I
Requires a high school diploma/GED, 1 year experience as a phlebotomist in a healthcare
setting, and 1 year of waived testing and specimen processing. Ability to obtain BLS within
30 days of hire.

• Patient Service Technician II
Requires a high school diploma/GED, certificate of completion from an accredited
phlebotomy program, or 2 additional years of directly related experience as a phlebotomist
(5 total) may substitute for an accredited phlebotomy program. Three years of directly related
experience as a phlebotomist in a healthcare setting. One year of waived testing and
specimen processing experience and the ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.

• Patient Service Technician II – Float
Requires a high school diploma/GED, certificate of completion from an accredited
phlebotomy program, or 2 additional years of directly related experience as a phlebotomist
(5 total) may substitute for an accredited phlebotomy program. Three years of directly related
experience as a phlebotomist in a healthcare setting. One year of waived testing and
specimen processing experience and the ability to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire. Must
possess a valid TDL.
