Responsibilities
The Wellness Program Specialist is responsible for the on-site coordination and direction of worksite wellness events for employers. The position requires travel, potentially throughout the United States, to manage and participate in wellness events. The Wellness Specialist is responsible for booking and managing events via the event planning calendar. Further, the Specialist is responsible for onsite operations at events ensuring that required staff and materials are present and that all services standards are met. The incumbent is expected to work a variety of shifts including early morning and late evening; also, this person will be trained in general Kelsey-Seybold Clinic operations to potentially serve in other areas of the system during slow business cycles in wellness.

Salary Range: $49,730 – $61,442 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
Experience
Required: 1-2 years’ experience working (fulltime) in a wellness program in a healthcare setting. Prior experience in administrative and customer service-oriented tasks.
Preferred: 2-5 years’ experience developing and implementing on-site wellness programs; prior experience developing and teaching wellness education curriculum.
License(s)
Required: Driver’s license
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Typing 55 wpm. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Working knowledge of how to set up and administer online video conferencing and webinars.
Preferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Other
Required: Effective and professional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. The ability to execute data responsibilities in an organized and effective manner. Comfortable working in various professional settings for on-site events.
