Employee responsible to mentor and train CBO and Clinic administrative employees on patient account analysis and complex collection issues. Employee is responsible for writing and scripting technical and non-technical training documentation for CBO and Clinic employees as needed. Employee will also work with clinic personnel and patients via telephone on difficult collection and dismissed patient accounts utilizing strong customer service and conflict management skills. Acts in leadership capacity in absence of supervisor or as needed. Provides feedback on trainee performance to supervisors and managers. Assigned to special projects when necessary. This employee is required to travel to Clinic locations 4-5 days a week.

Salary Range: $49,021.60-$64,340.85
(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: High School diploma or GED
Preferred: Some college or successful completion of a billing and coding class.
Experience
Required: 5 years front or back medical office experience. A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience on a one for one basis. Successful completion of a Coding and Billing class may substitute for 1 year of experience. 1-2 years training experience in capacity as lead or coordinator using Epic practice management system.
Preferred: 6 years experience in a health care billing and collection environment or relative health care setting.
Special Skills
Required: Advance analytical skills to apply to patient account interpretation and problem recognition and resolution, excellent telephone etiquette, written and grammar skills. Reading and interpretation of health plan explanation of benefits, payments, contractual adjustments, and patient financial responsibilities.
Preferred: MS Word, Excel, & Power Point
Other
Required: Excellent communication/listening skills and the ability to employ conflict resolution techniques to resolve issues.
Preferred: Spanish Speaker
