Responsibilities
Under the oversight of the Clinical Laboratories and Department Satellite Laboratory Compliance Managers in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, the Compliance Support Supervisor provides administrative support to ensure the consistent quality, safety, and overall compliance of the Laboratory Services Program with department and organization policies and procedures, and local/state/federal regulations. Serves as ongoing liaison between patient, provider, and other internal/external entities in administration of the Laboratory Services program.

Salary Range: $76,505 – $94,496 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: BA/BS degree from an accredited institution
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science/field of study
Experience
Required: 5 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting or laboratory business setting; minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
2-years waived testing performance
Preferred: 2 years’ experience as a laboratory supervisor. Preceptor/Training resource
License(s)
Required: ASCP MLT/MT or equivalent Valid driver’s license
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Knowledge of CLIA regulations and ability to summarize inspection findings for Compliance, Waived and PPM certifications.
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Preferred: N/A
Other
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver organized and concise presentations tailored to audience.
Excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to efficiently manage lab operations at multiple sites.
Execute the established Compliance Monitoring Program.
Provide advice and direction to management and line staff on regulatory issues arising.
Be the regulatory liaison point and promote positive regulatory relations.
Investigates complaints and coordinates action plans with other departments.
Assist with internal reporting and recordkeeping of compliance issues or violations.
Develop and deliver appropriate training for the POC program using one-to-one or classroom methodologies.
