Ability to apply in-depth level of technical skills to solve common and complex technical issues. Performs detailed analysis, recommends, and participates in the implementation of problem resolutions.  Requires limited day to day supervision and guidance on handling unique situations.  Follows established guidelines and interprets policies


Job Title: Service Desk Support Analyst III

Clinic Location: Pearland Administrative Office

Department: IT Services

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $68,827- $85,030 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)




Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and obtain a technical certification within six months of hire

Preferred: Advanced degree in a technical field


Required: Five plus years of technical support analyst experience with advanced troubleshooting skills.

Preferred: 2-3 years PC field service or PC system experience. 1 year Windows Server support or Windows Security experience


Required: Valid Texas driver’s license.

Preferred: N/A

Special Skills

Required: Demonstrates mastery of essential skills within a discipline and advanced competency in at least two specialized skill areas such as WAN, network printers, and desktops.  Acts as mentor to others learning essential and advanced skills. Windows:  Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windows desktop and server operating systems. Active Directory – user, group, computer, and resource management. Unix: Intermediate technical proficiency of Unix environment(s) including Unix printing support. Network: Extensive knowledge of WAN technology and network printing. System Support: Extensive PC hardware and printer hardware troubleshooting. Intermediate experience supporting specialty applications.

Preferred: Intermediate technical proficiency in Unix/AIX environments


Required: Excellent organizational, presentation, problem solving skills. Flexible work

Preferred: Work history should include recent position which required attention to detail and flexibility in a high service oriented environment.
