Responsibilities

The Credentialing Lead Specialist initiates/coordinates daily credentialing activities for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physicians/allied health professionals to meet clinic policies and state/accreditation regulations.  Lead Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating Credentialing Committee, Medical Staff new hire credentialing meetings, hospital privileges, liaison between Physician Services/staff and recommends credentialing processes.

Location: Pearland Office Building

Department: Credentialing

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $57,949 – $71,594 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Job Qualifications

Education

Required: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience with focus in credentialing

Preferred: Certification, College Degree

Experience

Required: Minimum of 4 years credentialing experience

Preferred: Previous managed care/hospital credentialing

Licenses

Required: Current and Valid Texas Driving License

Preferred: N/A

Special Skills

Required: 

Proficient: Microsoft Access, Word and Excel.

Knowledge of AAAHC, NCQA and TDI. Excellent organization skills. 

Preferred: MD-Staff – ability to create/produce credentialing reports.

Other

Required: Excellent customer service. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of sitting for extended periods of time.
