Responsibilities
Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of application systems analysis and programming. Acts independently with very little direction. May have duties instructing or leading project application teams. May be asked to be work with KS Executive management, be a Team Lead or Supervisor role. Shares knowledge and learning with others. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. May act as expert in business or functional area. Keeps abreast of new technology. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis. Assists client departments in identifying and designing opportunities for operational improvement, which can be enabled by improved systems configuration, deployment, acquisition or development. Provides project management and direction for system related projects. Performs configuration changes and system setup to ensure scope and quality of product. Responsible for performing advanced triage for diagnosis of reported system and interface errors, communicating Application Software Maintenance request and issue reports from the KS clinical and business units to the IT staff. Understands scope of job and may perform various tasks including Project Management, report writing, programming, interface analysis, analyzing, preparing system specifications, flow charts and diagrams to assist in understanding problems and providing solutions; supporting custom applications; writing appropriate documentation for applications and systems developed.

Salary Range: $ 110,090 – $135,995 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technical/application area or 4 years equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Master’s degree in related field
Experience
Required: 4 years’ experience in applicable healthcare or business operations unit utilizing clinical applications
or other KSC healthcare applications
4 years or project management/lead experience in IT
Preferred: 7 + years’ experience in applicable healthcare business operations
4 years or project management/lead experience in IT
License(s)
Required: Valid Texas Driver’s License
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Technical and analytical aptitude for multiple application points of integration.
4 + years of systems experience with development, analysis, installation and support.
Report writing capability
Preferred: Epic Systems certification in one or more application
Other
Required: Proven communication, presentation, project management, problem solving, and technical skills are
also required.
Candidates must have the ability to assume more than one role on the team, and must have the ability to
travel occasionally.
