Responsibilities

The Senior Account Representative Team Lead is responsible for initial and on-going training for Business Office personnel. Performs monthly quality audits using multiple applications to ensure appropriate protocol is followed and report the results. Aids in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Serves as Team Lead on issues/problems directly related to the resolution of a patient account. Monitors departmental processes and system changes to ensure daily, weekly and monthly departmental performance standards are met. Identifies areas of deficiency, advises, and makes recommendations to supervisor for process improvement. Acts in leadership capacity in the absence of direct supervisor.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $48,755 – $60,237 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Education

Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program

Preferred: Some college or training in Business or Healthcare related field. Physician or ASC Medical Billing and

Coding certificate; Medical Office Assistant etc.

Experience

Required: Five years’ experience in medical/healthcare field performing business office functions.

Preferred: Six to eight years’ experience in a medical business office environment or Ambulatory Care Center.

Lead or supervisory experience.

License(s)

Required: N/A

Preferred: N/A

Special Skills

Required: Intermediate proficiency: Windows operating system, Microsoft Excel and Word, Internet. Alpha/Num Forms Entry. Good writing skills. Detailed knowledge of health insurance.

Preferred: EPIC Experience. Advanced Excel proficiency

Other

Required: Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong written and verbal communication skills for staff and patient interactions.

Preferred: Two years of quality auditing or training within the medical/ healthcare industry.
