Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) II – Hematology/Oncology – Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Clinic Location: North Houston Campus

Job Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $87,261 – $107,798 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduate from an approved RN program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience
Required: 2+ years RN experience
1+ year of Hematology/Oncology experience and/or related
Preferred: Ambulatory care experience
License(s)
Required: Valid and current Texas RN license
Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Fundamentals of Administration or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment
Completion annually of 10 CEU’s related to Oncology
OCN certification within 36 months of employment or 3 attempts (whichever comes first).
Preferred: OCN Certification
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Special Skills
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
Basic computer skills
Experience with EMRs
Preferred: EPIC experience
Other
Required: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred: NA
