The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Hematology/Oncology ($5,000 Sign On Bonus)
Clinic Location: Fort Bend Medical Diagnostic Center
Job Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $72,010 – $88,962 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Required: Graduate from an approved RN program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Required: 1 year RN experience
Preferred: Ambulatory care experience
Valid and current Texas RN license
ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Fundamentals of Administration or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment
Completion annually of 10 CEU’s related to Oncology
OCN certification within 24-36 months of employment
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
Basic computer skills
Experience with EMRs
Preferred: EPIC experience
Required: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
