The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for all activities of the Pre-Procedure Area. The Coordinator is the primary management link between the Pre-Procedure staff, the ASC Endoscopy Department and the GI physicians. The scope includes both clinical and administrative aspects of all the activities of the area. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning. The Coordinator is also responsible for implementing standards, policies and procedures formulated and recommended by the ASC and the gastroenterologists.

Salary Range: $85,550.40 to $105,684.80 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree.
Experience
Required: 2 year in a clinical area related to assigned department. Prior supervisory experience.
Preferred: Two years of ambulatory care.
License(s)
Required: Valid and current Texas RN license.
Special Skills
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience.
Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows bases computer skills.
Other
Required: Current BCLS. Experience leading a team.
Preferred: ACLS.
