The position of the RN Clinical Quality & Education Coordinator- ASC is one who assists with data collection and analysis of quality improvement indicators, collaborates in performance improvement opportunities, assists with ASC compliance and regulatory matters and leads education functions across all ASC departments. The RN Coordinator of Clinical Quality and Education is responsible for assisting with daily clinical operations of the ASC in accordance with Federal and State rules and regulations, including AAAHC and CMS standards for ambulatory surgical facilities. Qualifications
Education
Required: RN from an accredited registered nurse program.
Preferred: BSN or Master’s in nursing or education.
Experience
Required: 3 years Ambulatory care experience with both adult and pediatric patients; prior. Education or Quality experience (3 years ASC experience can substitute).
Preferred: 3 years’ experience as a RN in an ASC or operating room environment; experience in clinical education.
License(s)
Required: Valid and current RN, Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association, ACLS.
Preferred: Experience in Clinical/Quality Management, Infection Control and Clinical Education.
Special Skills
Required: Conflict resolution, strong analytical/leadership skills.
Preferred: Experienced educator and program development skills.
Other
Required: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; proficient computer experience; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point skills
