Responsibilities
The Registered Dietitian Health Coach is responsible for consulting with Executive Health Program patients to provide quality nutritional care related to the patient’s diagnosis, treatment, age group, nutrition status, and other individualized patient care needs. The Registered Dietitian Health Coach will work closely with the Executive Health physicians, as well as evaluate medical history including diagnosis, plan of care, body composition analysis, and other pertinent medical information needed to formulate nutritional plans, lifestyle modifications and education for the Executive Health program patient. The Registered Dietitian Health Coach utilizes approved clinical guidelines to positively impact the patient’s health, provides individualized coaching to reduce or eliminate high-risk behaviors, motivates, and inspires patients to achieve established goals.

Salary Range: $64,369 – $79,496 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science, Registered Dietitian
Preferred: Certified Diabetes Educator
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
Experience
Required: Five years’ work experience as a registered dietitian.
Preferred: Experience working with executives/corporate individuals.
Sports nutrition experience
License(s)
Required: Licensed Dietitian with the State of Texas
Texas Driver’s License
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Microsoft Office Products
Excellent keyboard and internet navigation skills, including the ability to use applications to document accurately and concisely, while simultaneously talking with the patient.
The ability to relate with warmth and understanding to the patients.
Preferred: Experience using Epic EMR
Experience developing sample meal plans and nutrition education materials for adults
Other
Required: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required, specifically, the ability to engage in a clear conversation in-person, over the phone, and virtual visits.
Ability to be self-directed, highly organized, think critically and be proactive.
Position requires ability to perform in-person, as well as virtual consultations.
