Responsibilities:

Oversees and provides day to day pharmacy systems support to all retail pharmacies including application settings, claims processing, drug file maintenance, PBM, patient and provider file maintenance. Monitors uptime and performance data for all pharmacy systems. Creates and analyzes pharmacy related reports in EnterpriseRx, McKesson Distribution, EpicCare, and McKesson Data Warehouse. Creates and provides analysis of monthly financial reports to accounting. Manages projects related to system upgrades, improvements, changes.

Salary Range: $57,949 – $71,594 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Qualifications

Education

Required:  Associate Degree

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience

Required:

2 years pharm tech
2 years pharmacy reporting & analysis and
1 year project coordinator

Preferred: N/A

License(s)

Required:  TSBP Pharmacy Tech Registration

Preferred:  PTCB Pharmacy Tech Certification

Special Skills

Required: 

Demonstrates strong business skills with the ability to analyze issues/problems from multiple perspectives while anticipating future and complying with regulations and contract requirements.
Proficient with computer applications that include but are not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Must have some knowledge of Sequel database reporting.
Ability to teach and lead team pharmacy techs on duties, process, and policy and procedures.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of pharmacy inventory management.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of EnterpriseRx pharmacy operating system.
Must be proficient in EpicCare including pulling data for pharmacy reporting
Must have experience with processing pharmacy reimbursement claims including commercial and Medicare Part D prescription plans.

Preferred: 

Accounts payable experience
Financial analysis experience
