The Exercise Physiologist is expected to perform the majority of tasks within the Cardiology Laboratory.
Per Diem Exercise Physiologist
Location: Main Campus
Department: Cardiology Lab
Job Type: Supplemental/ Per Diem
Salary Range: $23.00/hr.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related Field.
Preferred: N/A
Experience
Required: 1 year experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting. Equipment Marquette EKG machines or similar, Marquette treadmill control systems or similar, ACS Holter monitors or similar.
Preferred: N/A
License(s)
Required: CPR certification, ACLS certification
Preferred: Certification as cardiovascular technician or related.
Special Skills
Required: Basic computer and CRT experience. Basic typing.
Preferred:Bilingual in English and Spanish
Other
Required: Maybe required to work extended shifts in situations deemed necessary by the Cardiology Nursing Supervisor.
