To assist director, supervisor in the organization and daily function of the peri-operative area in accordance with established federal, state, and accreditation standards, regulations and Center policies and procedures. To assist the Charge Nurse in overseeing patient care activities in the peri-operative area. To maintain a high standard of safety for the patient and staff members. Patient liaison for care rendered. Monitor stock levels, outdated supplies and equipment needs and report to Material Management Coordinator or Director. Serve as a role model and leader for technicians and orderlies.


Position Title: Part-Time Registered Nurse II – OR (ASC)

Department: ASC Operating Room

Job Type:  Part-Time

Salary Range: $78,463.84 – $96,925.92 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)


This position will only consider candidates whose highest attained degree is an RN (no advanced nursing degrees will be considered or allowed to function in this role)

Required: RN required education


Preferred: BSN preferred




Required: 2 years OR experience


Preferred: Ambulatory Surgery Center setting




Required: RN license. Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Or ACLS or PALS issued by the American Heart                              Association


Preferred: Specialty certified : AORN


Special Skills


Required: Basic computer skills






Required: Clear communication skills
