Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of competent compassionate and efficient patient care of the Infusion Center and Hematology/Oncology Clinic. Supervises daily clinical operations of the center and manages the nursing staff in accordance with established Federal, State, and JCAHO/AAAHC regulations and center policies. Responsible for clinical and nursing activities including policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities including the quality improvement, infection control, and safety programs. Manages human and budgetary resources to accomplish clinic goals.

Salary Range: $113,018 – $139,601 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: BSN
Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing or related field
Experience
Required: Minimum 7 years RN experience
Minimum 3 years oncology experience with at least 3-5 years progressive supervisory/management experience.

License(s)
Required: Current RN license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: CPR, ACLS
OCN certification within 1 year of start date
Preferred: N/A
Other
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for a selected patient population. Able to use mechanical devices, such as those used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
Proficient computer skills.
May be required to travel to other KSC Cancer Centers
Preferred: Experience with accrediting agencies
