The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

Salary Range: $78,458 – $96,928 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Required: Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
Required: 2 years in a clinical area related to assigned department. Prior supervisory experience
Preferred: Two years of ambulatory care.
Required: Valid and current Texas RN license
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience.
Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows- based computer skills.
Required: Current and valid BCLS from American Heart Association. Experience leading a team
