Responsibilities
MOHS Certified Medical Assistant provides supportive patient care functions for an assigned MOHS clinical- surgical area, under the supervision of a Surgeon, Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. Some duties may be delegated to the MOHS CMA by the Surgeon or RN. This position requires additional duties which include administration of injectables and or other high-level skill performance.

Salary Range: $38,646-$57,949 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
Qualifications
Education
Required: High School diploma or GED from an accredited program and
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Dermatology/Surgical Technician program
Preferred: N/A
Experience
Required: 1 – 2 Years’ experience as a Medical Assistant II.
Or
2-3 years of related surgical experience and
Complete the module specific program(s) for MAII dermatology & Mohs
Preferred: Ambulatory Care experience
Surgical Care experience
License(s)
Required: Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant or Dermatology /Surgical Technician
Preferred: N/A
Special Skills
Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. Computer experience.
Basic Medical & Nursing terminology
Preferred: Windows bases computer skills
EPIC experience
Other
Required: BLS certified
Preferred: N/A
