Responsibilities

As an AV Support Engineer, you will be required to provide E2E support of various MS and AV solutions used for team collaboration and site communication. Working with clinic leadership to scale solutions, assisting the integration solution providers while onsite, and providing end-user support with their hardware, software, and solution issues will be in scope. Additional requirements will be to assist in maintaining MS Teams, digital signage, and other AV solutions current and within compliant operating specifications

 

Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Support Engineer – Distributed Client Services

Location: Pearland Administrative Office

Department: IT Services

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $ 70,204 –  $86,731 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Technical certificate (i.e. Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCDST, MCP, or equivalent

Experience

Required: 4 years of IT systems engineering experience in the UC/AV space (voice and video) for a med-large, 

 

global enterprise company deploying solutions and remediations at scale, including 3 years managing and 

 

configuring the following applications: Microsoft Teams/Rooms, Skype Rooms, Zoom Room platform(s) 

 

including hardware provisioning (Windows OS)

 

Previous MSFT work experience

Preferred: Providing remote support using remote access tools like SCCM, GoToResolve or apps. 

 

Knowledge of asset management, and remote management systems. 

 

Knowledge of TCPIP in LANWAN environments.

 

Strong experience in troubleshooting, issue diagnosis, mitigation planning, and remediation along with good 

 

analytical, interpersonal, and effective oral/written communication skills

License(s)

Required: Either Microsoft Certified MCP or demonstrated progress towards certification. 

 

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate 

 

Or

 

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

Special Skills

Required: Experience supporting Microsoft Teams specifically and troubleshooting Teams specific call quality 

 

issues using the Teams Call Quality Dashboard and Teams admin center

Preferred: Experience with Hybrid Teams configurations and knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies – 

 

particularly, Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams.

 

Knowledge of the Teams voice calling plans and subscription offerings.

Other 

Required: Excellent verbal and written skills

Preferred: Ability to develop and train users in use of UC systems and applications
