Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day accounting needs such as monthly accruals, tax return filings and payments, assistance with audits and ongoing accounting projects. Accountant II maintains financial records and ensures that financials transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to the ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.

Department: Finance and Accounting

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $64,369 – $79,496 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Preferred: MBA or MPA

Experience

Required: 3-5 years of accounting experience

Preferred: N/A

License(s)

Required: N/A

Preferred: CPA/CPA Candidate preferred

Special Skills

Required: Proficiency in Excel

Preferred: Oracle experience preferred

Other 

Required: Computer skills

Preferred: N/A
